「We enjoyed 3 days of recreation and relaxation by the lake. We took the kayaks out multiple times. It takes about 60-90 minutes to slowly paddle around the lake. There's a beaver's dam to visit, loads of lily pads/flowers, fish, turtles, and ducks. Less than 5 minutes away is a small park with a nice swimming area and hiking trails -- $2 admission per car. 「Went for a few days of skiing and touring Manchester, VT. The property was wonderful -- very clean and appealing and in a great location. We could have walked to nearly everything in town, but it was raining so we didn't. We used the stovetop, coffee maker, and watched movies through the available streaming. There were some games in the house, and a welcome gift and note. Heating was comfortable. The manager was friendly. Overall, I'd book this place again.」

The main house is within view, but only as much as an average neighbor would be. 「Amazing! Cannot get a better location! So close to everything! Quick walk to village shops and slopes. Very clean. Lots more room than I was expecting for two big 17 year old boys and parents. Kids had their own bedroom, bathroom and storage area on main floor, adult had master suite with own bathroom upstairs. Plenty of room in kitchen and family room. The only complaint is that hotels hot tubs and pool were over run with too many little kids. 」
