Colonial Resort is centrally located, but the units are at the back of the block and in a garden setting with pool views. Very tranquil setting. The unit was spacious and had everything we needed.

The studio apartment was very tiny with three chairs taking up the limited floor space. Hence no room for our suitcases. The TV was positioned very high on the wall making it very difficult to watch. The only shelf in the bathroom to place toiletries was very narrow and high. The window was tiny, meaning that the limited view of the pool could only be achieved by standing right next to it. The plantation shutters allowed the outside lighting to keep the room relatively bright all night. The lift was great - no lugging suitcases upstairs. There were plenty of good places to eat right on the doorstep.

Communication with Reception Manager was prompt and informative. Beautiful resort style complex with a great pool and spa. Walking track along the river is just out front with lots of dining options as well. The room was spacious and had everything you need. Free bus in to Hastings street, 9mins, during school holidays was a bonus as parking difficult in Noosa its self. Under Cover secure parking was perfect, all be it a little tight, kept car cool on the hot summer days. Only grievance was that we would have loved extra towels with cost or more washing powder to wash the one towel each over 3 days. This was definitely over shadowed by how perfect everything else was.

The resort was clean unfortunately we had a black out with no one in the office, strange office hours for a resort which should be open every day all day for their clients. They didnt have a generator not good for paying customers, so when power went out it was just too bad ....arrived later with torch....and had to let people in locked out of their rooms not good enough for paying customers.

We stayed in a studio apartment that had just been refurbished. It was bright and clean and had everything we needed. The pool area was fabulous and so was the location, with an amazing breakfast/lunch place on its doorstep (Depot). A great place to stay.
