Steps to the Beach - Short Drive to Dining/shops SSII102

Our condo is not "across the street," "oceanview" or "second row". We are right on the Atlantic Ocean! Every vacation day begins and ends with the soothing sound of the Atlantic surf and the serene view of blue sky and golden sand. The soft sand of Surfside Beach is just a few steps from the door. Start your mornings watching the sunrise or catching dolphins on their morning swim. We are also not in a "resort" or a crowded high-rise that has crazy lines for the elevator; you won't have to drive anywhere! There is a swimming pool exclusively for guests and is never crowded. Relax on the lounge chairs while the kids swim.



There is a king size bed in the master bedroom, and two double beds in the second bedroom. Beds will be made when you arrive, kitchen and bath towels are provided. Bring your beach towels. Here, every day offers a choice of shopping, golf, and attractions from the convenient Surfside Beach location, or just relaxing on the balcony or the beach enjoying the sunshine.



Surfside Beach is perfect for a family vacation, away from the traffic and crowds, but still, a short drive to the wide variety of attractions, shopping, dining, and entertainment the Grand Strand has to offer. There are over 100 golf courses nearby. The Surfside Beach pier, restaurants and shops are a few blocks away. Luxury shopping and dining are a few minutes north in the Market Commons area. Just a short drive north is all the attractions and shopping of Myrtle Beach, Broadway at the Beach, Coastal Grand shopping center, the Myrtle Beach boardwalk, and one of the world's largest Ferris wheels. About 15 minutes south is the Murrells Inlet restaurant row, said to be "the seafood capital of South Carolina". For a unique cultural experience, Brookgreen Gardens displays one of the world's largest collections of sculpture by American artists in a lush outdoor setting, along with a zoo and butterfly garden, it's just a few minutes south on Business 17.



The person renting this property must be at least 25 years old, have a valid credit card, and be present for the entire rental.



Parking is limited at all oceanfront properties. We can only provide the number of parking tags allowed by the Home Owners Association and property manager. None of these properties provide more than TWO parking tags. No additional parking tags are available. Cars and motorcycles only. Motorcycles may not park under the building. NO trailers, golf carts, jet-skis, etc

Looks are deceiving

This should be a nice place and from initial looks it is, but it was very dirty. There was only an obstructed view due to extreme overgrown palm trees and grass. Not like the picture at all. We didn't mind but the owners need to update the pictures and maybe the cleaning company. An inch of dust was under everything including the beds.

The bathrooms were too small and cockroaches in the living room. Pee-stained rug in the living area. We love the facility, but this room needs some updates in the kitchen and etc.

Great family stay!!!!

We loved our stay here and plan on rebooking for our next summer vacation. Only complaint we had was there was still sooo much sand covering the island chairs and table chairs. Also lots of sand in the bedrooms. I did have to do a quick wipe down and sweep the day we arrived but overall, everything was perfect for us. We appreciated all the nice cooking equipment and silverware as our last place we tried out had the bare minimum. Definitely an 8 out of 10 for us!

As advertised!

Unit was nicely appointed and well stocked. Although it was ‘tidy’ I wouldn’t call it clean. Gritty surfaces in kitchen & bathrooms. Dust bunnies under tables & chairs. Master bedroom did not work. Called on check in day. They sent a tech and checked it when we were out. Said it worked fine. The only problem was they checked the second bedroom, not the Master. Called on Monday and they brought a new tv & hooked it up for us. Over all a terrific place with million dollar views.

Perfect access, but...

This condo has the best access I've ever had, but the condo itself left something to be desired, esp considering the price - incredibly small bath area in master, palmetto bugs/cockroaches found every day, tv in guest room never worked, tv in living room went out halfway through trip (not good when you're stuck inside on a rainy night), and worst of all, no reply from property management to my text complaining about the issues. (And btw, I've never been in a building as unlevel as this one.) The best thing about this condo was the balcony because it was first floor and so close to the beach.

Our own private beach

The beds were clean and comfortable. Master bedroom is oceanfront. Soothing sound of the waves made for blissful sleep. We love staying at South Shores ll. Feels like we have our own private pool, and beach.

Our first time to Surfside Beach and first time booking through VRBO

This was our first time renting a place through VRBO. Booking , check in and check out went very smoothly. We really enjoyed this condo. More than met our needs. We liked having a place on the first floor so didn't jhave to deal with elevators during Covid but they were available if needed. Condo was clean, all linens provided and included so many extra items (decks of cards, books, every kitchen item you can think of, etc). If I had anything negative to say, it's just that the master bath area with the toilet and shower was small. Would definitely recommend this place!

Dryer was broken, no one called us or came to fix, reported it twice. No clean dry towels due to this. Construction on back of building all week, could not sleep in at all due to noise. NO POOL!! COVERED DUE TO CONSTRUCTION! no warning of Amy of these things and paid full price. Condo was lovely but wish we would have gone somewhere else.

Awesome Beachfront Condo

This condo was perfect for our family of 5! Surfside Beach is our favorite place to vacation and this condo made it perfect! It was clean, overall spacious, great appliances, and was in a great location! The only negative was the size of the master bathroom but it wasn’t a big deal because the other bathroom was perfect. The pool was awesome, not too busy, and great to have with children on the trip. We plan on booking this exact again next year without a doubt! The Brim Family

Our stay and place was Great. The listing said Pet Friendly... On the 5th day we were told to leave immediately or board our little pet. We were floored cause we pick here cause it was pet friendly. Supposabley it had changed. If you dont want pets there take it off...

The room was great, the location was great, distance to the beach was great, area was great! Just need to pay closer attention to cleaning. The floors left our feet black, even adter they came and mopped again, they dont iuse buckets or lysol or anything close.
