we rented October 2-6, 2024 during Myrtle beach bike week. Three couples in our 50s looking for peace after our area was devastated by hurricane Helene. We called Vacasa three days before our trip and asked if they would consider crediting us the amount because we were living with no power. They would not even consider that. Regardless, when we arrived to this house, it was apparent that we were in trouble. The floors were disgusting, the rugs were stained, none of us were able to have bare feet throughout the house. It was a great set up with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. However, the bed was sunken in the middle , and all three showers were so clogged that showering, We stood into inches of water. There was dirt and dust in the corners of the bathrooms and behind the toilets. The one shower curtain was moldy and sour smelling. I would recommend that this homeowner and management company inspect this house before even considering to rent it out again. For the price that we paid, we would’ve been better off at a hotel. Also, the posting stated that there were beach accessories. When we called two days before our trip, we were told that there would be several beach chairs and an umbrella. There was nothing. Also, in the picture shows a grill and propane tank. The grill was so greasy and rusty. There was no way we would use it. The propane tank was empty. We were grateful that representative came out the next morning to inspect the property and he agreed that the place was a mess. Despite having a great time anyway, we were very disappointed in the quality of this house and the service we received from Vacasa. I have taken many pictures and would be grateful if I could submit them to someone so that they could see exactly what we, as guests, experienced during our stay.
