“We didn’t pay for an oceanfront view, so I knew we’d have a street view but I expected to still have a personal balcony. We got to the room and opened the balcony door to find the roof. When talking to other guests on our floor, we learned that everyone on the 2nd floor without an ocean view had access to the roof. Needless to say, we kept the balcony door locked because it seemed like a potential security issue. The staff was polite and helpful. At first one of our room keys wasn’t working……

“The room was very clean and had a wonderful view of the ocean. The outside door was broken and had to push/pull to get it locked everytime we went out. Told the woman at the lobby about it and she knew it was broken so hopefully the visitors will not have that problem. We had a terrible storm and the next day, the ceiling was leaking a bit but it had prior patching also. Other than that, it was good overall. There is a convenient store there also which makes it nice too”

“First time we stayed here and loved it. It is a gem hidden only 1 mile from the Marsh Walk. It was clean, quiet, and we loved the pool. It was so nice to stay out of the hustle and bustle of Myrtle Beach, yet we were only minutes from all of the MB activities, restaurants, and beaches. We look forward to staying here again.”

“We had a late check in around 10pm, the staff is so friendly once we walked in the hotel. This Hampton has rated the best Hampton in the nation for the past 5 years and I totally agree with the rating. The room is clean and big, the morning breakfast area is very comfortable (the food are ok). Basically it's a great hotel. The only 2 downsides are: (1) sound proof not too good (2) the pool is really tiny But it is a great stay, except for the price is a little high (we paide US$220 per night)”

“People should know that it is a remote registration hotel. There is no on-site front desk. But it works pretty well.”

“the Inn was very clean, and the staff was great, you have a view of the ocean and such on a balcony. Parking was easy to manage. I believe housekeeping is requested, but other than that great place to stay.”

“The staff was very professional and helpful as I had to hide three different layovers and they were understanding and patient. I enjoyed the breakfast and their staff was very attentive as well. I have one feedback about one of the rooms that had two queen beds. I'm not sure but the scent in the pillows smell a bit like cigarette smoke.”

“Property was clean and beds were comfortable. Checking in was the worst though. The line was wrapped around the whole reception area which is amazing small. Took an hour to just checkin.”

“I had a great time at the Grand Hotel! It had an outdoor pool and an indoor pool and 2 jacuzzis. It was just so great. It was relaxing and I liked that our rooms were spacious. We had a problem with our door not closing all the way and maintenance came and fixed it immediately. We had a great view, we will definitely be staying there again. :)”
