Holiday on the James River

Beautiful immaculate home with stunning views of the James River. We visited Williamsburg each day via the ferry. Great communication with the owner. This was our second time staying here. Highly recommend!

Perfect Place!

We stayed here for spring break with our extended family. Everyone loved it! The views of the James River are wonderful. We saw a bald eagle fly over with a fish in its talons while we were sitting on the couch in the living room! Everyone had their own space but we could all hang out together in the common areas. The ferry is literally around the corner and getting over to Jamestown, Williamsburg, or Busch Gardens is easy peasy. The kitchen was well stocked and we ate most of our meals there. She also provides plenty of dish, laundry, and hand soap. This is such a gem of a place for a very reasonable price! Would stay here again in a heartbeat if I’m ever back in this area.

A Place That Restores The Soul

The property was as beautiful as the pictures and the description. The breath taking view is to restore your soul to return back to the real world. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the stay and the home had every amenity needed for a comfortable stay! We will definitely return.

Fantastic experience

The house is ideally situated on the James River, with beautiful views and peaceful surroundings. The layout of the house itself is perfect for gathering for meals and games, as well as for individuals to retreat for quiet time. The kitchen is well-stocked, with no gaps in supplies. And the homeowner is incredibly thoughtful and responsive, including dealing perfectly with the ups-and-downs of some weather issues. We are looking forward to many future stays at this property! Great place to stay with family while enjoying all the area has to offer. The ferry is close by so makes that an easy commute. Enjoyed the home and the beautiful view of the river! Kids had a great time exploring the water’s edge.

Lovely home right on the James River. Our family saw bald eagles, herons, osprey and even a dolphin in the water. Binoculars provided were great to have to see all the surrounding wildlife. Conveniently located close to the ferry to go to Jamestown and Williamsburg.

Fabulous house.

Perfect place to stay if you want to avoid the crowds in Williamsburg. Easy accesd to the ferry. Beautiful view of James river. Would go there again. Loved the decor inside.

We didn't want to leave!

We enjoyed our time at this beautiful property. The view out over the river was spectacular and we could even see the fireworks from Busch Gardens on Saturday nights. The ferry is very easy to access and we found plenty to do on both sides of the river. The house is well stocked and cooking was easy in this kitchen. Lots of room for our family of 6. Thanks for a great stay!

Wonderful large home by the river

We all enjoyed our stay in the home. Great mattresses, plenty of space, full kitchen supplies, and perfect location for visiting Williamsburg and Jamestown. The view from the kitchen of the river was perfect, kayaks a great addition, and location felt secluded. The family loved it.
