Beautiful cozy place

This place is a solid 10/10. The views are stunning and it feels exactly like the Alaska experience every tourist hopes for. Hammocks, mountain backdrops, a lawn full of flowers, and a restaurant to dine in—it has it all. Plus, it’s close to Matanuska Glacier. Definitely a spot I’d add to the must-visit list.

Nice property and food on site. Great views. When driving past other lodges they didn’t look as nice as this one. Saw helicopter come and go so if interested in heli tour that may be an option.

Love this place..the location, the million dollar view..the cleanliness.we met the owner his name is Njord, very nice guy.. Kendra took care of us she is very nice too...Gary check us in was very helpful he let us checkin 30 min early..this place is so gorgeous.. next time we are around Glacier View definitely staying here again...this is a 5 star place!!! Great lodge in stunning location. Rooms are spacious and clean, and while they are not the most modern (this is rural Alaska), they are warm, comfortable and staff is just great. Would visit here again as views from the lodge are also amazing!

What a gem this place was. I wish we were prepared to spend more time there. Their restaurant was closed but they had organized a BBQ for everyone to gather. They planned to set up a fire outside for others to gather. Unfortunately we arrived late and left before breakfast. The grounds are great for a hike or for sitting and relaxing. Staff super friendly and welcoming. Rooms were the most comfortable on our 2 week trip. Highly recommend this location.
