“What a lucky, last-minute find! Wow! So sad we were only there for 1 night! Amazingly placed hotel for Stratford. Walking distance to all amenities and tourist attractions. All of the staff, from the cleaner, waiting staff (slender, small, long dark haired young lady, very sweet, didn't catch her name sadly, that looked after us for dinner), Receptionists (day and evening) and the Manager, were ALL so helpful and friendly. We had a problem with the shower in our room (cold water tap……

“The host was very nice and friendly, and the room just felt like home. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was spacious with wonderful shower! Would definitely stay there again.”

“We stayed two nights. The hosts were amazing. Great choice for breakfast. Very convenient for the town. The bedroom was quiet with a lovely view to the garden. Didn’t realise there was a fridge until the last day!! We will return hopefully when the weather is better”

“From our after midnight arrival to the manager who went out of his way to change us from one type of handicap access room to one that was better suited to my needs. This property was run like a well oiled machine. The staff overall was polite and helpful, which obviously was made possible by the manager who seemed to treat them all the same way he treated guests (kind and helpful) even when he wasn’t in the building the staff was exceptional. A rare find these days”

“Neat place above the pub. If staying in that section, the stairs are quite narrow to get checked luggage up - but doable. We booked through Expedia and it said no attendant on site - so there was confusion on where to leave our bags and we did not receive a response so we ended up paying Premier Inn to hold our bags. But when we got to the hotel after checkin time , there was reception in the Pub. She was very nice and got us checked in quickly. Place was old and could use a dusting of the……

“Very clean - nice accommodations. We had a very large suite - great for 3 and could have accommodated up to 4 comfortably.”

“Blisteringly hot in the room and a/c not working. Windows all restricted opening so impossible to get through draft. Breakfast ok but good coffee would be a useful addition - and please will someone go a try a proper French croissant before serving these chewy tired imitations. Location great, pool a fabulous addition. Could be so good - just needs to belong to an organisation who care.”
