“The hotel is clean and tidy, the beds are comfortable. The free breakfast was delicious. Free parking and very affordable prices. It's just that the room is a bit too simple and there are no windows for ventilation. The room is a bit decorated.”

“During an off season stay, there were very few visitors and they were in the process of doing some renovations. In spite of that, everything was in working order and there were no noises or construction disturbance. The restaurant and bar at the Whaler was very popular and the food was excellent. The stir fry in particular, and then the wings special on Sunday night, just excellent!”

“I’ve been a Hilton traveler for years but have recently found that many of the properties have began to become very rundown. Service has also been lacking.
This was my first stay at the HGI in Providence and I’m pleased to share that the experience was exceptional.
Very pleasant check in. The room was well maintained and immaculately clean. I was greeted every time I walked past the desk. I was thanked when I checked out (at 400 AM).
Really great experience. Highly recommend this……
