Staff was helpful. Location is good. Lots on on-site parking. Beds and pillows and not comfortable.
Had to move rooms due to a major leak from the room above. Little to no compensation for the trouble. Lots of noise from hallways.
Nice bar and decent restaurant Greggs right next door. Rooms need to be updated. Parts of bathrooms are falling apart.
Pull outs beds are not comfortable.
A very convenient hotel, room was large, clean and comfortable and the breakfast was wonderful. The check-out time of 12.00 was a surprise and very welcome as we were en route to an afternoon wedding and the venue was only 10 miles away.
Nice spacious room. Air conditioning in the room struggled in the heatwave but eventually became reasonably comfortable. Good hot and cold buffet breakfast.
Lovely spacious room with a fantastic shower, felt like you were being jet washed.
Great breakfast selection and a nice bar/lobby area
And delicious warm cookies on arrival
Only slight disappointment was the air conditioning was an air cooling system and only moderately effective (the outside temperature on arrival of our stay was 27C)

Room was clean, slightly dated for the price you pay, you’d expect more for the Hilton chain. The staff I dealt with had been friendly. Onsite parking was good with a nice price of £3 a night, just remember that if you drive all the way around the back looking for a better space, you will need to then drive out of the hotel, down the dual carriageway and back again to re-enter the car park. At the time of my stay the access to loop back around the hotel car park was blocked off.
Staff helpful and lovely
Room clean
Would go back again

The location of this hotel was great and I used this as an overnight location when travelling different places throughout England. The hotel on first impression of staff and lobby were great. Then get to the room and kind of dropped. The record and facilities were dated and there were holes in the carpet, digs in the furniture, paint marks on the wall. There were some cleanliness issues in terms of hairs on pillow which I removed from the bed. The mattress was extremely hard and wasn’t a great nights sleep so I left using express checkout and left the venue. The evening meal I had in the restaurant staff were friendly and food was good. In the morning ing breakfast - I’d seen better at premier inn and whilst sitting in the restaurant I realised why it was so cold the night before, the first exit door was broken and the bottom half of the door was not secured and was actually letting cold air in from outside. Overall, this hotel is good on initial impression but has a lot of areas to improve upon. After a great experience the night before in Southampton this venue was a big disappointment. Finishing on a positive, the allergen free option for the cookie was fantastic and something which did not scrimp on quality.
We stayed one night on our way to Cornwall, it was really nice place to break the journey. We had our dog with us and he was made very welcome with his own bag of treats while we enjoyed the classic Doubletree cookie! We arrived in time to eat at the bistro in the evening and the food was good. The bed was comfortable enough and the shower was decent. Breakfast quality was really good and they were still bringing out fresh cooked food close to 11am. The only negative was the coffee from the machine - so bitter it was undrinkable. We would definitely stay again.

Very comfortable bed and room. Friendly and welcoming staff at reception, and they gave us a lovely warm cookie on check-in. The only downside, was the sign in sheet was printed in incredibly small font, and the printer clearly needed a service and some ink.
Breakfast was undercooked, eggs and sausages were raw and reception staff were a little unpleasant. Other than that, the hotel, most of the staff and facilities were good and I’d stay again.
