"My son and I used this as headquarters to visit some historic sites and relax before long travel home to US. It was a tight space but fully equipped and adequate for everything we needed. Nice hiking trails right outside the door. Beautiful setting. Owners were very nice and accommodating."

"We were so impressed with all the details and beauty of this wonderful cottage. It’s a gorgeous little town on the hill with ample walks and a FANTASTIC local pub - the Kings Head. We were so cozy here and it was the perfect base to explore all the nearby cute old towns, pretty roads, Stonehenge and Bath. Visit the Jolly Good Farm Shop for amazing sundries and the Lavender Cafe for a brunch that is impossible to beat. Bravo!"

"My family and I stayed the month of December in Bourton-on-the-Water, our first trip to the Cotswolds. We chose Riverside House because the VRBO listing seemed exactly what we were looking for. Upon arrival we quickly realized that though the listing is quite accurate it does not express the charm and comfort of the Cottage, nor does it indicate how perfect the location is. We were able to park off street just outside the house as parking in Bourton can be challenging. We did not need to use the...

"We had a wonderful stay in this lovely home. Located for easy access to Bath and the Cotswolds ... would absolutely stay there again. The conservatory, with its wonderful views, was our favorite place to eat, hang out and play cards. It was simply beautiful!"

"Checkin , parking and the apt were terrific - very large space. walkable to Jericho and central Oxford - or bike-able. Near the canal walk and close to Port Meadow. Possibly one of the better locations in Oxford. The apartment is modern and well equipped but there were just a few negative points more for the owners to repair. I don't normally post negatives but I think this flat/apt is def worth it with a few minor tweaks There were lights that didn't work in the bathrooms just needed...

"We had another lovely stay at the Lower Mill estate. Kids enjoyed the watersports, bike rentals, swimming and tennis and the independence of having it all within easy access. The cottage was a good space for the 2 families - 2 mums, 4 kids with a well stocked kitchen. It was a little dusty as nobody had stayed for awhile, which did also mean a lot of quite large spiders. Probably inevitable as you are so near the water but they were some of the biggest I have ever seen or had to deal with!"

"Directions and arrival instructions were accurate and easy to follow. The cottage is well appointed and spacious. Access to the upstairs bathroom is a little restricted but not a significant problem. As mentioned in the owners description, transport is required as there is nothing in the immediate area. However this means it's a lovely quiet countryside environment. We enjoyed our stay at the cottage and the lovely area."

"Roy was the manager on duty when we checked in and out. He helped carry one of our suitcases to our suite! He was awesome and helped out with some local areas to dine and visit. The suite was excellent, slippers and a robe waited our arrival, along with coffee, hot chocolate, tea and milk. Was very clean and a comfortable kind size bed. We loved it."

"There were ten of us (6 adults and 4 children) and we thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend together. There was plenty of space, comfortable bedrooms and everything one would expect to find in a property of this size. The outdoor games, the pool and the indoor games room were all great favourites with the children."
