We have stayed a few times at the Mariners, mostly i love the place and nice staff.
Only thing i could faukt on this trip was a glitch in my booking , i somehow ended up with a twin room, instead of my usual Queen room.
On the Expedia site, i hated the twin room, i contacted customer care for Expedia and they contacted Mariners, after i was told by the hotel they are booked up till January and cant change it, we were put in a family room on level 3 it was lovely for 2 of the 5 nights.
1 air-conditioner wasnt working , and the other was hard to operate, no ceiling fan, but had microwave, cutlery, plates , bowls etc and a hotplate.
We still couldnt get a better room after the 2 days, the twin which they turned into a king bed, had no microwave, we couldnt heat up food, and it was noisy and no private balcony , anyone could walk up to oyr window and glass door if it was unlocked.
The mattress gave me back aches and was low , so getting in and out of bed hurt my left knee, which i injured at work last year.
So yes half my stay was great and other was disappointing
