Cremore city apartment

Very comfortable fully equipped very close to transport and shops. Street parking fairly close. Just needs some long hanging closet space for dresses

While the apartment is in a great location, it definitely does not match the listing. First of all, there were two bedrooms listed when there is only one. The oven, grill, air conditioning and intercom did not work. The mattress and mattress protector were covered in stains and the listing also states there is a smart TV and Netflix in the apartment - another complete fabrication. During the first 4 days of my stay the smoke alarm beeped incessantly, making it near impossible to sleep, so much so that I had to pay for alternative accommodation. It took 5 days for the company to send someone out, and when they did show up, their solution was to remove the smoke alarm altogether, meaning the apartment had no smoke detection for the majority of the stay. Trying to get any help or assistance was like pulling teeth. You call or email and just get told the issue is being 'escalated'. I was told they were looking to move me to a different apartment and would look to provide compensation for all issues I encountered, but it's been weeks and I'm still waiting for a response. As mentioned at the start of the review, the apartment is in a great location, but it's not worth all the hassle that comes with it. If you need to be in the area, perhaps try the Cinema Suites down the road, it's slightly more expensive but the apartments are new, clean, the appliances work and the staff are responsive and helpful, unlike the team that 'manages' this place!

Don't stay if you want internet

There was NO INTERNET at the property for the entire 1 week duration of my stay. I wasted multiple hours on the phone with MadeComfy who apologised profusely yet could not do anything. On the 5th day I was told the owner did not pay the internet bill and I would not have wifi at all. They, after multiple calls and emails, offered a refund of $35 - not even enough to cover the data I had to add to my phone to tether and work. Other people in the building also had wifi issues (same owner) but theirs was fixed. The property was also not particularly clean, with toast crumbs all over the counter, water under the coffee machine and bathroom trash can, steaks on any shiny surface, and one hand towel for a whole week. Shame, as the location is great and the property could be good, but the owner simply doesn't care and the management can't actually achieve anything. As a side note, if there's no one checking out on the day you check in, they will allow you to do so early - but will charge you $50 for the privilege of entering, with no extra exertion on their end.

Gut gelegene Wohnung mit schlechter Hausbesorgung

Es begann gleich bei der Ankunft mit einer falschen Nummer für die Schlüsselbox. Mehrere Telefonate waren erforderlich um das Problem zu klären. In der Wohnung empfing uns ein schlechter Geruch. Wie sich später herausstellte war der Staubbehälter des Staubsaugers übervoll und die Filter völlig verstopft. In der Lampe über dem Tisch fehlte die Glühbirne, es bedurfte mehrerer Telefonate, Wartezeit und zu allem Überdruss wurde dann noch eine defekte Glühbirne geliefert. Nach ein paar Tagen floss plötzlich Wasser aus der Decke in der Nähe des Aggregats der Klimaanlage. Es waren wieder mehrere Telefonate und viel Wartezeit erforderlich um Hilfe zu bekommen. Bei jedem Anruf unterschiedliche Mitarbeiter denen immer wieder alles neu erklärt werden musste. Wir konnten die Klimaanlage für die gesamte Wohnung somit mehrere Tage nicht benutzen. Als Ursache stellte sich heraus das die Entwässerung der Klimaanlage defekt war. Neben vielen nervigen Telefonaten mussten wir mehrere Male zuhause auf Handwerker warten. Von einer Entschädigung, die uns Mitarbeiter der Hotline in Aussicht gestellt hatten haben wir nie wieder etwas gehört. Nachbarn in diesem Haus berichten ähnliches. Die Wohnung wird nur mit einem Satz Bettwäsche und einem Badetuch pro Person ausgestattet. MadeComfy kommt als Vermieter für uns nicht mehr infrage. Die Wohnung ist gut gelegen. Vieles ist gut per Bus und auch zu Fuß erreichbar. Parken mit dem Auto ist schwierig, da keine kostenlosen Parkplätze zur Verfügung stehen
