I injoyed my stay very clean close to shops/Food very quiet considering it’s on a main road would have loved to test out the rest of what was available just didn’t have enough time too
Staff and accommodation were very good.
Excellent for what I needed in a hotel this time but couldn’t see it being a regular place to stay unless it was a stopover between shifts etc…
I have to say i found it rather enjoying, Appart from the shared bathroom at the end of the corridore i found it a reather relaxing quiet place to stay..

Bathroom need to be cleaner a less stuffy. A bath mat and hand towel would have been nice. Room comfortable and bed nice and clean. Floor could have been cleaner. Love having iron and tea facility which could be a bit better stocked. Reception staff really lovely and helpful.
Great little place to stay overall. The bed was comfortable, room was clean and staff friendly. The only drawback was the sound of doors slamming shut all night from people leaving their rooms to use the bathroom. I had an ensuite bathroom but others don't. I woukd like to suggest having soft close doors installed for overnight comfort of guests.
Good value for price, very friendly helpful staff (housemaid offered to help me with my luggage). Nowhere in bathroom to put soap, shampoo etc. Wardrobe up against air conditioner so cool air unable to spread, windows not opening so can't get cool air from outside
Very noisy at night by other guests. The shared toilets were terrible. Sticky floors and clogged toilets, it looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a while. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Staff were very friendly and I really enjoyed chatting to the person at check in.
Unfortunately the rooms were quite dusty and smelt very strongly of stale cigarette smoke. There were no windows that could open so we couldn’t even try to get fresh air.
The bed was pretty comfortable. I’d recommend using earplugs because the mini fridge was quite loud and the walls were quite thin so you could hear a lot from other rooms.
Staff were great!
However we ordered the king suite with 2 beds, and got told at 3pm that the website lied and that wasn’t an option. Place was unclean, bathroom was dirty, lights were dim, mattress was like something you would find in a landfill site - hard, rough and bumpy. Constant noise throughout the night of doors slamming. 0/10 I would never recommend this hotel, I would only ever use it as an example of exactly what a hotel shouldn’t be.
First off, the good: the lady who checked me in was extremely friendly and helped find some dining in the area. Very happy with the customer service. The AC in the room was also amazing as I was there on two 40deg Sydney days. It is also close to the train station.
However, the room was horrible. I paid extra for an ensuite. There was what appeared to be dried blood on the toilet seat. There was no door handle on the inside of the shower sliding door. Someone else’s soap bar was left over at the bottom of the shower. My sheets had dried blood on them. The bed was so uncomfortable, the springs were painful. The room was extremely dirty in general.
I booked for 4 nights, slept there on the first night, found another place to stay on the second night and checked out that morning and got a different hotel. Thankfully I was refunded for the 2 nights I didn’t use. I also took photos of all of this should they wish to see.
If the rooms were cleaned properly then it would be a very good value-for-money hotel. It’s right on top of a pub that is open late which is always a benefit. It has great potential but failed to deliver.
