We were switched to a different apartment that was “better” and it was disgusting. They did not change the confirmation on VRBO so they refused to help us. The host claimed we waited to complain until hours after we checked in (we had just checked in and got in late and immediately texted the host). We ended up getting there at 1-1:30 am. We had to call around for a hotel, which fortunately a kind soul worked there helped us. We told her about our experience and she was appalled and upgraded us out of kindness after seeing the photos of this property.

We recently stayed here to attend a Syracuse football game. Check in was simple and the instructions came the day before via text. The place had enough space for the 5 of us. Beds were quite uncomfortable. The window AC units caused it to be very loud at night as you could hear outside noises quite clearly. Neighbourhood was not the best but we did not feel unsafe. Overall, home is old and dingy and could use some updates for comfort but is not misleading based on photos. Check out process was unclear (no instructions regarding garbage, linens, etc) and host did not respond to messages the morning of checkout.

Beware

This place was a disaster. Worst neighbourhood. Walls cracking. Beds and bedding uncomfortable. Check in was a nightmare with an unresponsive host that kept blaming Vrbo app. Window air conditioners in each room, but could only run two at once or you blow a breaker. Nobody had a good sleep since the beds were terrible.this place should not be rented, it’s more of a crack house. Save yourself the nightmare and rent somewhere else unless you like feeling unsafe, uncomfortable and dirty.

Too Old for Comfort

Place needs upgrading, the walls are cracked the rim around the tub is peeling; overall bathroom should be redone its too small and the toilet is a hindrance there right by the doorway. The living room couch is stained and needs to be replaced. There should be instructions about the use of the thermostat as we were almost fried when we woke up on Saturday morning because when we got in Friday night the place was extremely cold and so we tried to turn the heat up.

Great for a game weekend back in Syracuse

This property was great for our trip back for the Syracuse Notre Dame football game. The area isn’t the best but never felt unsafe or anything. The house is spacious with 3 bedrooms and large living area. If you are planning to cook or stay in the house a lot it, you would need to bring more things to use but everything was great for our trip.

Right price, everything needed

The house is centrally located to several local destinations that we were interested in and priced right for our large family (would require two hotel rooms). The house is pretty well stocked (could use a few more cooking utensils but had things like soap and laundry detergent). The neighborhood feels a little sketchy, but we live rurally so may not be the best judge. Nothing over the top but did the job for a few days so we could explore. The property manager was great at communicating and quickly addressed the couple of issues that came up.
