While the hotel has been beautifully renovated and is in very good condition, it felt more like a generic luxury hotel and lacked the Sicilian character we were hoping for. The breakfast room also felt somewhat “hotel-like,” although the breakfast itself was delicious. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, and we especially loved the pool, which was heated to a very comfortable 28°C. The spa was also lovely,……

The rooftop restaurant and terrace have a beautiful view and breakfast has a very large choice and is very good. The staff are extremely attentive and all seem to have the freedom to chat to guests like human beings and not "5 star robots". A welcome change.”

“Very friendly and helpful receptions. The location is very convenient. We had an issue with the aircon late at night. I was told the next day that the aircon was fine that is was in sleep mode. As we stayed 1 night it didnt matter but definitely its not easy to use if thats the case. The bed light on/off is tricky but the hotel does explain to you during checkin. It was a nice laugh with the family trying to figure it out!!! ”

But all these good qualities are offset by a lack of maintenance of its facilities (shower head that seems like breaking down and keeps leaking water from its handle, air conditioner that shuts itself down within 30 mins of operation...) .
