Hall Cottage is an impressive wing of an old English Country House built in 1835, close to York, Harrogate and Leeds. With 5 very comfortable bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a fully equipped farmhouse kitchen, sitting room with sofas and a Smart TV, hard tennis court and even your own large, private walled garden. It is ideal for short stays, nearby weddings, workcations and family holidays. There is ample parking, fast free Wifi, recycled waste and the electricity is solar resourced. All the rooms have magnificent views over unspoilt Yorkshire countryside with amazing sunrises and sunsets.

Bedrooms and bathrooms clean and nice. Lounge bit scruffy.Kitchen was filthy. Cupboards had been painted and paint was still wet. Freezer drawers all broken. Drawers not clean and oven was filthy.Sham as the 3rd floor was very nice with bathroom facilities all good.

Very welcoming and we were so grateful for the home-made bread , butter , milk and eggs. Lovely and spacious lodings away from the hustle and bustle of York . Would highly recommend
