"My family and I chose this place because we were visiting the nearby water park, Kalahari. The host was aware that we would be at a water park all day. After 7 hours of fun and wet heads we came to the house and it was 43 degrees. All thermostats were turned off. There was snow on the ground. "We had a fantastic stay at Mountainhome! The layout was perfect for our stay. We had 6 teen girls and 3 teen boys with us and were able to separate them so they didn’t get in each others way. The game room is amazing, and so spacious that even though everyone was in there playing different games, at the same time, it still didn’t feel crowded. Location is great and within 10-20 mins of anything you can want to do. We highly recommend!"

"We had an amazing weekend. The house is a bit outdated, but we were there to be outside. There is another rental connected to the A-frame. The walls are very thin, but we didn't mind at all. (We're used to the loud city). They have their own fire pit and outdoor section in the back yard. "We came to play golf but the weather did not cooperate most days, but we had the best time as a family enjoying the property and surrounding area. The area provides great food options like Pho Saigon, AJ’s pizza and Mi Casa Mexican restaurant. We enjoyed the hot tub multiple times a day and had both outdoor and indoor fires. "Perfect place for a small group. House is clean and feels luxurious. Extremely cozy. Several places in the house for the group to gather and chat. Manager is very responsive and helpful. Overall a perfect weekend stay for a cozy gathering!"

"We had a great stay at this property! The listing was accurate and we had more than enough fun things to do to keep us all busy - including the 3 year old. We were able to cook all of our meals at the house which was great and we loved the backyard/firepit area. The only hiccup we had was that the grill was not clean, but we just used aluminum foil over the grates to cook. Would definitely stay again"
