Tai Po Family Hotel

"My partner and I stayed in the newly re-designed rooms and enjoyed it! It was bigger than we expected and felt clean and cozy. The washroom had alot of space for us to put our things and didn't feel tight either. In the room you are given a kettle, instant coffee, and filtered water that is replaced daily when they make your room. All really nice touches. Check-in and check-out were easy and fast and staff were attentive and helpful throughout are entire stay. Location-wise the hotel is conveniently located between two stations that are both less than 10 minute walk away. It is on a side street tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Nathan Road. There is a convenience store right across the street which is nice. Only thing is I wish I had the chance to check out the pool and restaurant! The bar had great amount of cocktails to choose from and lovely atmosphere. Would definitely stay again."

"Great, well maintained hotel that can cater to your every requirement. The hotel could benefit from having a gym on the premises, and the 8th floor windows shouldn't be blocked so that guests with young children who couldnt stay at Disneyland until 8pm can view the fireworks from the hotel. Staff are also openly watching guests at the breakfast buffet - please give guests some space whilw they enjoy their meals. Overall a great family stay, with plenty of free activities for families. "

"The Grand Hyatt is very well located, has amazing views with floor to ceiling windows. The staff were amazing and very tentative to provide help and support when needed. The rooms were spacious and very well decorated. Although the pool area was very inviting and the gym offered all that you needed including a sauna. A BIG negative is smoking is still allowed (almost encouraged with all the ashtrays everywhere) throughout the pool area. This was made worse by having the entrance designed for people to smoke, so when going to the pool or sauna you would need to walk a gauntlet of smokers - not pleasant at all. The pool was also in need of a good clean, did not make doing laps refreshing at all."

"Staff were great, they will greet you as soon as you get off your car/taxi and bring your luggage to your room. They also surprised me with a birthday note and cake which was really appreciated. We booked the deluxe harbour view so the view was amazing day and night. Property/room was very clean, spaceous with nice amenities. A lot of dining and shopping options around. Close to the mtr. They have restaurants on site but we did not get to check them out. We will be back."

"I had one of the best customer service experience when I stayed here just last month. Upon checking in, I was informed by Mr. Ng that I had two reservations (I forgot to cancel one of the reservations). Upon sharing with him my situation, he went out of his way and called another 3rd party company to cancel the reservation saving me hundreds of $$$. I will forever be grateful. Thank you so much! With regards to the property itself, room was very comfortable, it was big, and is within a 2 minute walking distance to the subway, shopping, and dining all within a stone's throw away. Will definitely stay here again!"
