Very spacious quadruple room with great city view. The room smelled musty and somewhat moldy though, and it was impossible to open the window. The air-con did not work well; I think they set the temperature quite high, and it felt like ventilation only, so it was hot during our stay. I called the reception but they said they could do nothing about it..... Nice buffet breakfast (mainly Chinese, with some Western items) served at 2nd-floor Chinese restaurant. We had stayed in this hotel and really loved it when breakfast was served at the lovely ground-floor cafe -- that was fantastic. But for this time, that place was under some renovation. The hotel is a somewhat aging landmark, and renovation seems to be carred out little by little. The spa and fitness area urgently needs updating.

Old hotel, close to the industrial area
I wont recommend this hotel to travellers. And i believe common travellers wont stay here. It's far from the center, and old.
But for business man who come visit offices near industrial area, this might be an good option for you. Big hotel, good location, and nearby some nice massage shops.

Disliked: Staff & service
Great location but terrible staff
I have my worst check-in experience ever!!! I believe Expedia have to take part of the responsibilities. I used Expedia APP to make to same day booking. I did have receive the confirmation and the card have been charged as well. However, when I arrived the front desk didn't even have my information.

Needs a revamp
Has all the basics, but nothing more than that. Everything inside and out is a bit outdated and from the 90's
This hotel, though very classy and the rooms are quite large and well-equip, is in the middle of nowhere. There is no public transportation that can access it from any convenient location, whether it be from the seaport, the airport, the train or high speed rail station. One needs to take a taxi which will add to cost. To compensate for this, the hotel can provide free shuttle service from those mentioned stations for guests staying there, especially at the high room rate.
Check-in, I asked for the breakfast stubs. She told me that it is not included. I showed her my itinerary "includes breakfast". She do not know their product sold per customer.
Breakfast should be in 1st floor.. 1st breakfast at 3rd floor then 2nd time moved at 1st floor.. very confusing. And the food are more in 1st floor compared to 3rd floor.
I went to the fitness center 6th floor at 8 am... 6th-floor has no lights... went back around 9:30 am, still no lights. In other words, hotel directory and brochure are giving wrong information.
I have a twin beds and I want to put it together. When I moved the other bed, under the bed is dusty.
