Old building but for the price you can't beat it. It was decent enough to stay in for the price paid - approx same / cheaper than hostels nearby. I chose the one where they randomly assign you a room. I got one where you can't really use the window and there seemed to be a slight reminisce of cigarette smell (rooms are supposed to be non smoking). Room size pretty big. Would do a short stay again.

This hotel is in an excellent location, being literally across the road from Tainan railway station, which is also where all the city's bus lines converge. This makes it great for getting to all parts of the city quickly. The hotel itself was decent for the money, and the room was okay, with a comfortable double bed. My only real complaint was the lack of soap in the bathroom, I had to use the shower gel to wash my hands. Overall I liked my stay here, and would stay again. The hotel's location is honestly hard to beat.

Room okay but improvements needed
Our stay was good. It was a bit noisy late at night. We would have preferred a bar of soap to the liquid body wash. The WIFI for our room did not work and the alternate WIFI connections we were referred to were not stable. The WIFI issue would have been a problem if we had stayed more than one night. That said, the staff were amiable and helpful and the room rate could hardly have been beaten.

Nice budget hotel
Convenient location right in front of Tainan train station, and within distance to some attractions and local markets. Staffs are really friendly and polite. It’s a budget hotel but good enough for a short stay. They are in the middle of renovation, hopefully the whole place becomes better

The place is just next to the TRA station and bus stops. Very convenient. And there are available eateries nearby. Just that this hotel is under renovation making the hallway smelled funny. Additionally even when the aircon is centralized, it’s inhumane to set it at 27.8 degrees Celsius during summer. Even the hallway is colder than this! If it’s not for the inconvenience of safety and considering the hallway smelled like construction, we would want to open our door to get the bit of coldness into our room! On top of that, somehow the fire alarm sounded at 2am in the morning and it was so alarming that everyone came out of their rooms puzzled and scared. The alarm only gave warnings in Chinese and none of the guests at level 14 could speak Chinese. Note that the highest floor of this hotel was level 14 and it would be horrible to run down the hotel via fire escape only to find out that it’s not a real alarm. We didn’t know what happened and the hotel staff didn’t say what happened either. We called the receptionist and she only said “no fire, no fire.” The slept was lost after that considering the room itself was as hot as fire at 27.8 degrees Celsius. However considering that the hotel is super cheap and located just next to the TRA and behind the bus stops, we would not mind to stay in this hotel again. They have better rooms available which presumably those that have been renovated. Took a peek at level 1’s hallway of the rooms and they were superb.

Best cheap 'business' hotel I've stayed in
It was a room, it was clean, and it was cheap. Best 10 dollar hotel I've ever stayed in. If you're not accustomed to Taiwanese 'business' hotels or sensitive to dank mold smelling rooms with no windows, or not used to seeing people check out at weird times after probably only being in the room for an hour, then of course you can pay 120 more dollars to stay across the street.

Hotel at good location
Friendly and helpful receptionist. Big room. Water pressure in room n wifi strength are very good. Provide washing machines , dryer n washing powder. Aceesibilities are great with bus, railway, restaurants n shops around. Aircon cant be adjusted as it is centrally controlled.Overall have a great stay there

Location was good, room was big for that price, limited lighting, elevator was slow and was broken. They refill water and towels daily which is a plus for the property. There was a 7 eleven under which made it easy to get snacks and stuff

100% recommended. Great price for the location.
We got a great deal on the budget room however with good wifi and private bathroom not sure why it was even considered a budget room- very nice. The location is great, very close to train station. They accept credit card which is also helpful. Very good value

This was my second visit to this property, and I'll return there again when next visiting Tainan. The value cannot be beat! Location directly across from the train station is perfect for me. Lots of eateries around. Tourist shuttles leave from in front of the hotel. Walking distance to great coffee. Walking distance to large park for strolling. Price fits any budget.

Had a pleasant stay. Was assigned to a 2nd floor unit. Needed a security card to use the green lift to go up to 2nd floor. When I turned on the lights upon entering the room, I noticed a young (and small cockroach) crawling ontop of the headboard. No other signs of pest during my stay.Very big bed produced by combining 2 Super single bed frame Hotel didn't give me the breakfast coupon beyond the 2nd day. 1 small bottle of water provided.

Spacious, clean and basic hotel, 5 mins walk from Tainan TRA. Breakfast is NTD60 meal voucher which can redeem any food at 7-eleven downstair. If you need to travel a lot by public transport, it is an ideal location to stay in as the bus stop is just 2 mins walk from this hotel.
