「Jim's spot was the perfect place to call home while exploring Talkeetna. Not too far from the town but also so secluded and quiet. Everything was as described - we even were welcomed by homemade brownies. Jim and his pup were super friendly and kind. Falling asleep surrounded by woods is a peace like none other.」

「The Marlin Cabin was perfect. Spacious, comfortable and had everything we could need. A wonderful, extremely comfortable king bed in a single bedroom. Windows everywhere with good blackout shades. And so, so quiet. We loved it.」

「This home is by far the nicest one we’ve stayed at on our many visits to Alaska!! It is immaculate and well stocked, down to the soft comfy blankets to snuggle under. The beds are queens and a king, which is hard to find, and bathrooms were roomy and stocked with shower toiletries. The hilltop setting makes you feel like you are in a treehouse; we loved sitting on the deck and listening to the birds. It’s a perfect location, too, just a quick hop into downtown Talkeetna and to lots of hiking...
