Sewell Tall Pines State Preserve Hotels

"I booked this property because it had a pool, and I had 2 grandchildren. I was told DAILY that the pool would be available, yet it was not. I stayed one week, and the pool was only operational during the last two days. Also, the breakfast was almost nonexistent on several days. I attempted to eat breakfast at 8:00 on 4/6, and there was no bread out for toast, no bagels or pastries, no hard-boiled eggs, no fresh fruit of any kind, and there was garbage on the floor, no one cleaning up the tables, and no kitchen staff in site at all. It definitely was not worth the price, and I will not stay again."

"Perfect for what I needed...A quick relaxing getaway. While it may not be the most modern, it had everything I needed for a good night's rest. Staff was very helpful and nice. Check i nand out was simple. Breakfast was good. Already thinking about my next little get away. "

"The room was clean but there was no desk or chest for storing clothes. There was no place to hang any clothes. A grab bar in the shower blocked the full operation of the water control - something an idiot would do."

"This hotel desperately needs to be renovated. The first room we were in the tub was stained, cracked up in places in the water leaked in it constantly. The hotel has no handicap options available for walk-in showers. The front desk clerk was rude and insulting when I requested a room change for the second time. Without even checking to see if we had requested a room previously she insulted me for calling again at three in the morning when I couldn’t sleep for traffic and an air conditioner that sounded like a jet plane taken off the whole time it ran, I would never stay at this hotel again and probably will not stay at residence Inn by Marriott again."

"Our room wasn’t ready.. we requested early check in for 3… they knew we were traveling from a distance for a 70th surprise party and our ride was picking us up at 5:30. Our room was not ready until 10 minutes of five which did not even allow us to get showered. We literally had to quick cleanup, fix the hair, fix the makeup and throw on our clothes. The room smelled like smoke, we requested a king size bed. We got two double beds. Our toilet did not flush, not the Marriott. I’m used to staying at."
