Four Seasons Tamarindo hotels

"We stayed in the 4-bedroom family suite and absolutely loved it. There was lots of space for our group, with a large common living area that made it easy to spend time together. The dining table was generously sized, and we really appreciated the ample seating on the balcony/terrace. The fridge is a larger bar-sized fridge, which worked perfectly well for our needs. The coffee and tea station was a lovely touch, and having a sink in the common area was very convenient. Overall, the suite felt spacious, comfortable, and very well designed for families or groups."

"We really enjoyed our stay at In the Shade Hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool is lovely, warm and relaxing. We only had breakfast there one day but it was very tasty and fresh. The room was comfortable. Excellent location, just a short walk to the beach and many great restaurants, coffee shops and stores. I would recommend staying here."

"The whole place was spotless and staff were wonderful. Usually we stay close to the water but in tamarindo that means being in the noisier part of town. So we opted for this place and used their shuttle to go back and forth. Loved the tranquility, the views of the ocean and the visit from the group of monkeys right at eye level off the back deck. We will definitely be back! "

"We enjoyed our 3 night stay at Tamarindo Diria! Great location on the beach and walkable to everything. Nice amenities and friendly staff. Good restaurants and amazing breakfast Buffett daily with beautiful views. A great way to start every morning. Be sure to check out the large pool across the street, we almost missed it (our fault, not hotel). Feel like the hotel should provide lounge chairs on the beach (they provide them in grassy area) and shouldn’t be another $30 or so daily paid to third party. But, overall very happy with hotel and recommend. "

"Why a beautiful little hotel. Tucked away from the hustle but close enough to walk into the main drag. Lovely king room. Staff super lovey and would definitely recommend anyone to stay here. We would definitely come back! "

"We loved our stay at Tamarindo Village Hotel. My family chose one of the rooms with a second bedroom loft. It was located at the top of the hotel on a hill. I felt like I was in the jungle, removed from the tourists of town, yet we were very close (walking distance) to shops/grocery/restaurants and the beach. My favorite was that we had a private small dipping pool on our deck. Monkeys were playing in the trees daily. A large variety of birds were present as well. The entire property was very clean and well maintained. The owners keep the appliances up to date and the kitchenette was perfectly stocked with everything I needed but not too much. The breakfast was lovely. $7 for an ample amount of delicious food, or the buffet items are complementary. I love peaceful simplicity when I travel, and Tamarindo Village Hotel exceeded my expectations. We would be lucky to stay again."

"The staff were great ! The location is conveniently 15-20 mins to Tamarindo, which can save you a lot on the cost of staying in tamarindo. You can also arrange shuttle with them from the airport which is only about an hour away. The host is SUPER responsive through WhatsApp. You can also, pay through their payment system there and they will give you cash which is a great way to avoid looking for an ATM. "
