Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. The Getaway is located in a private, gated, residential community, and only minutes from the Veterans. Our private shaded streets have a 10 MPH speed limit as they meander through growths of century old Oak trees. Our multi-acre park offers guest shady grassed areas under rustling cypress trees for picnics. The park features a Volleyball Court, Fishing Dock, Boat Ramp, Swimming Area, Horseshoe pit and a playground. The home is a walking distance away from the lake it is not lake front.

This little house was perfect for my families needs. It is well stocked and very conveniently located in town, close enough to anything you need to venture out for and yet the property is perfectly nestled away in a quaint little old Florida neighborhood. Check in was without incident and conversation was effortless with our host. The children loved having that great big yard to play in while we prepared dinner.

Adorable place. Quiet gated cozy. Photos are super accurate which sadly is uncommon on this app. Host was responsive to questions and was able to accommodate a last minute request of mine with no hesitation.

The owners responded very quickly to all our questions. The house needs some upgrades. The house is fine for a couple of nights but not a place I would stay for a week or more.

Wedding

We needed a place to stay while attending a wedding. This was the perfect place. Very cozy but roomy. We felt safe in the gated community. The host provided information about restaurants and things to do. Great stay

Nicely furnished property, great location.

Nicely furnished property, comfortable and roomy for two. Also enjoyed screened in porch. Delightful, walkable neighborhood. Enjoyed fishing off the neighborhood docks. Owners very responsive. Great location, close to many daily activities (parks, nature preserves, fishing, beach, golf, city life).

Very nice! We had a few issues with figuring out how fans worked, how air conditioning worked. Bed was ok. Bathroom needs a grab bar but I’m told that will be coming when remodeled. Host attentive

It is a nice quit community , we had a couple small issues when we got there and they took care of it the next day . The owners are friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had . People in the community are friendly also . we would go for a walk and everyone would stop and talk to us . We would stay here again . Thank you

Sufficient Rental

Check in was difficult because the property gate code did not work. Our flight was delayed due to Florida storms nearly four hours, so we were late arriving. The host did not answer the phone. It took nine hours to make a two hour flight to Florida and then the code didnt work. Very frustrating. The description leaf me to believe the house was on the lake. It is not. It is at the front of the community, not near the lake. The house was fine, floors are very soft in areas. The keurig didnt work either, we were planning to use it.

A must stay!

At first I was looking to stay in Tarpon Springs area. Then came across this listing. I was sold with private beach at the lake note. When we arrived my husband's first reaction was anger at me. This anger lasted about 5 min. By the time we were leaving he was looking at listings to buy propery there. Inside was amazing - like beach feeling. Beds very comfy, kitchen all you need! Cherry on the top old style hunting game where my 4 year old wanted to keep playing and my husband and i had tournament as well. Property beyond amazing. Lake and beach - like in dreams! Mother in law stayed inside of the lake for 6 hours. Residents around very friendly. This is a must property if you plan to go to Tampa area. We went just for weekend. Saturday we spend at the lake, sunday beach. Beaches, tampa all close by. Host very nice and responsive! Kayaks available (had fun kayaking through 3 lakes). I promise you will not be disappointed. My husband who rather get a stroke than apologize and admit to being wrong did both! We all loved every single minute of our stay! Thank you

Everything was good, the cottage was clean, The location was great, all the stores were within 2 mile away. The lake and playground area was within walking distance. The hosts were easy to commute with. Would stay there again.
