Definitely does not sleep 8

This property was said to sleep 8 people, with 3 queen beds and a couch I'd say you can confidently sleep 7 but not 8. Assuming there are 3 couples in your party. I had to buy an air mattress. (I left it there so maybe the next guest doesn't have the same issue) There weren't any extra linnen to turn the couch into a sleeping area or for the beds, either, so had to buy that as well. Additionally, the way it was stated by the host about the neighbors having "super sonic hearing and their willingness to call the police" made us feel like we couldn't enjoy ourselves. Finally, there are 2 "mother-in-law suites" in the house, you can hear everything they do. One of them has a dog, who must have had an accident, because our part of the house was filled with the stench. I did like the proximity to the airport, but otherwise felt mislead by not having an appropriate place for everyone to sleep, and not having adequate linnen and decent blankets on the beds.
