Very nice hotel, very clean. Nice bars in lobby. Check in was great and check out staff were very attentive asking if we needed water to go and taking pictures of us on the stairs. The only negative was the service at the pool bar. We had to bus our own table several times. There were very long periods between service and after 30 minutes not seeing our waitress we left without our check as she had our room number. We checked with the front desk and our room was billed to include a 20 percent tip. I would stay there again but probably not eat at the pool bar.

This property has a very nice lobby and pool area and lounges. the staff was excellent everywhere. The rooms are are average at that. Very overpriced. The nights turn into a mad house with people wanting to enjoy the nightlife and we had to show our key to get back into the lobby. NOT COOL. The property is clean and in a nice area, not worth the money to stay here.

Birthday Trip
Decided to stay here for my birthday and I truly enjoyed my stay. Everyone I encountered was super nice and they even sent dessert to my room with a cute birthday card. The hotel is very beautiful and I absolutely loved the aesthetics of the bathroom. My only con about the stay would have to be the parking. I think the parking is a bit overpriced but I guess that's what you get for staying downtown. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here.

The beauty of this property is so unique. I’m the middle of everything can walk to amazing bars and restaurants. I gave it 4 out of 5 starts because we waited forty minutes for breakfast and it was nothing too special, we also had to call for our bell service since it was late we ended up not sliding because they were fifteen minutes late.

It was fine
For the price of the stay you'd expect a higher quality room. All of the amenities basically cost more to utilize, the TV in the room barely worked, the toiletries in the room were sparse, the linens and pillows were no different than a Days Inn. It's decorated well enough downstairs, but the upstairs looks like any other hotel. I'd expect a better experience from a 5-Star hotel (or so it brands itself). If you're planning to stay in Tampa, save some money and go somewhere else.

Lackluster Hotel
I would say this hotel is certainly all about the hype and not worth booking. Valet only which no one seemed to care only about their tips. It could take up to 30 minutes for your car and even says it on the ticket. The room is nothing special. The bed is hard, pillows were not great (had to call to get king pillows) cheap towels. The shower products were nice and room service. Also, as a registered guest constantly had to fight your way into the entrance/lobby with general public. Also, was always asked how to get to the rooftop which is not appealing as I’m not concierge for the general public. Is certainly not worth spending $500+ a night unfortunately felt like this was a robbery.

My husband and I stayed at the "Edition" in Tampa Florida and I was charged $150 for my 3Kilos Toy Pomeranian even tho she is a Service Animal and I had the proper documentation. Is that normal??

Check in was 2 hours later than the posted check in time leading to a rushed evening of preparing for dinner and concert. This hotels staff lacks training.
