This hotel is outstanding in room size, quality of the bed and bedding, cleanliness, service of every staff member and the food was of high quality and plenty of choices. Would highly recommend .only hotel on our whole holiday to ask how was our stay."

"Reception staff was reasonable. Breakfast (at restaurant) was good. One great surprise: The housekeeping team was attentive with high EQ and could attend to what we needed to make our stay an enjoyable one. They also made it a point not to disturb us, especially for the not-morning-person us. Definitely going back for our next trip to Shanghai!"

"Beautiful hotel with helpful English speaking concierge, generous rooms and fabulous buffet breakfast. We thought a city view would be more interesting but recommend booking a park view room (there's a fountain light show on at about 8PMm that's pretty impressive) . The metro is about a 10mins walk away so something to be aware of but not really an issue. The pool & sauna facilities are great. Shopping mall 5 mins walk away is not fancy but has lots of basic restaurants and a huge supermarket."

"Considering that this hotel is relatively new, and part of the Shangri-La empire, it was a let down. It’s been built on the cheap and that shows. Functionally everything is there, but things such as cheap floor tiles let the place down. Highlight for me was the breakfast which is first class. Many staff seem more interested in their mobiles than their guests and that’s a real pity. It’s an airport hotel, so I guess repeat custom is not something they are particularly bothered about. The Hilton at the airport is a far better bet, and if you wish to splurge the Shangri-La itself. I would never stay there again."
