An easy 5 stars!
This was our second visit to Angel Fire, and we had a great time staying at this property. The cabin was very well maintained, clean, comfortable, and well equipped (sans a sled for the kids, but we left behind so hopefully others will make as good use of it as our kids did).
Let me start by saying that everything in the place was very clean, which we greatly appreciated, especially having little kids.
It was also well equipped, with everything you could need in the kitchen, games/movies, and lots of blankets and pillows throughout the property (along with great furnishings including the extremely comfortable couches in the living room).
The only negatives for us (and this will depend on your party) was that the upstairs can get quite chilly, especially the little 'kids sleeping nook' and, that the noise (and light) carries upstairs, which means that if someone is trying to go to sleep upstairs before the rest of the house (like kids), every noise can be hard upstairs (down to whispers). This is likely not an issue for most, but in our case it did complicate things slightly. Also, even if you try to close the upstairs shutters, you'll still get a good bit of light bleeding into the upstairs. In essence, you want to make sure that whoever is sleeping upstairs is the last to go to sleep (and first to wake up).
But overall, it was a wonderful property, making for an enjoyable stay. An easy recommendation for others!
