“A great place to stop off for a night on the way to somewhere else. Lovely breakfast at the cafe. Wonderful location to visit Dartmoor.”

“Booked a valley castle room w king bed for one night in late Sep. Room was very clean with comfy n up to date decor. Room was big enough and soundproof quality was good. Big garden surrounded hotel n we took a pleasant walk the next day. Should have stayed for one or two nights so as to enjoy swimming pool and other facilities. The historical building was well maintained. Very pleasant stay ”

“Deluxe Double Room, 1 King Bed: We stayed two nights, one in a nice room over top of the pool hall in the back, and another over top of the bar/restaurant facing the waterfront. Being off season, both rooms were quiet enough after bedtime, and we slept well. Internet was good. Breakfast was okay, good enough, but not up to the standards of a modern hotel buffet. Parking was easy, and everything in the town was only a very short walk away.”

“A beautiful 16th century inn, everything is absolutely clean from the rooms to the stairs, the food is nothing out of this world but it was quite good, my Fifi was treated like a Diva. All was fantastic and for the price it's absolutely good value for money, the landlady she's absolutely great in every way and of course she's the heart and soul of the site. Thank you and we will come back. 5 stars”

“Nice sizeable and comfortable room. Unfortunately it was quite hot due to it being on the second floor and after a string of hotter than usual days, not helped by the fact that the heated towel rail (from the hot water system) couldn't be shut off. But a great old pub to stay in all the same. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant.”

“Well located for shops and both Exeter Main and St. Davids railway stations. My room was compact but well thought out and well equipped. It was great to have a light next to the bed which you could turn off/on easily and the shower was good. Breakfast was first class, beautifully served and coffee one of the best. I would have liked more savoury options for the breakfast but that is just a small preference. Host was really helpful and very welcoming. I would stay here again.”

“I had a wonderful one night stay at the Coach Inn while passing through. The facilities at the inn are great and I would thoroughly recommend it. One comment for consideration the bedroom window was screwed shut in my room no 9, the room gets full sun making it hot with no air so it would be a major benefit to be able to open it for some fresh air, my suggestion would be to fit some stops instead of it being screwed shut so it could open say 8" or so. Sought Molton has is full of character and……
