The Hotel Uzbekistan is an icon of Soviet-era Tashkent. While the lobby has been modernised, the rooms still feel straight out of the 1970s, and many corridors seem bizarrely abandoned. City Palace Hotel
Nice hotel, centrally located, short walk to the metro. The room was sparkly clean. The only area of improvement is the slow elevator. Other than that, everything was great.
