"Excellent little B&B. The room we chose was spacious with lovely features such as traditional fireplace and large free standing bath. The room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. I found the bed/mattress a little uncomfortable but I am very fussy about that kind of thing and it is very subjective. Had a lovely soak in the bath though and the shower was also excellent. "I must say the size of our suite was impressive. What was more impressive was the cleanliness of the room. Our super king size bed had a supremely comfortable mattress, the room came with a small kitchenette area which we didn't use and plenty of tea and coffee etc and the muffins were a bonus. The bathroom was large and spotless with a great walk-in shower. Towels were fluffy and soft. Sleep quality brilliant and we would recommend this property "

"Exceeded our expectations. Spotlessly clean, fantastic facilities, and a fabulous welcome. We stayed in Tufted Owl overlooking the High Street - a bit ‘rumbly’ if a big vehicle went past, but there’s very little traffic in town at night. The noise didn’t affect me at all. Beds were really comfortable and the breakfast was over at The Crown (we were given a breakfast card each) which was amazing. We’re definitely coming back. "

You are left a large supply of free logs for the fire which makes the place feel so cosy, told if you run out to just leave the basket outside and it will be filled up again for you.
