Easily reached are Minehead, Dunster Castle (National Trust), Knightshayes Court (National Trust) and market town of Taunton. There is also a wooden barbecue lodge in the garden, which is available by arrangement. Nearest shops and post office are in the town of Wiveliscombe which is 4miles away . The nearest pub which also serves food and a Sunday carvery is 2 miles away. However there is quite of lot of choice for lovely eating establishments in the area including Wiveliscombe, Roadwater , Weddon Cross, Watchet to name a few .
