Executive Studio Retreat – 400m to the Beach
Relax and unwind in this light-filled, modern studio — perfectly located just a 6-minute stroll from beautiful Tay Street Beach and its popular café, or a short walk to Bay Oval (Blake Park). Ideal for couples or solo travellers, this executive studio offers stylish comfort and easy living in the heart of Mount Maunganui.
Step outside and enjoy the scenic 3 km coastal boardwalk that runs along the surf beach all the way to Mauao / Mount Maunganui, where you can explore the iconic summit walk (45 minutes to 232 m) and take in outstanding panoramic views of the Bay of Plenty. You’re also just a 10-minute walk to New World Supermarket, and close to Pilot Bay’s calm harbour beach, boutique shops, restaurants, and local attractions.
Inside, you’ll find fast Wi-Fi, off-street parking, and your own private entrance. The studio sits quietly beneath the owners’ home at the rear of the property, providing peace, privacy, and comfort — the perfect base to enjoy everything the Mount has to offer.

We enjoyed our 2nd visit to here as it is central to Mt Maunganui area and is in a secluded spot so no Road noise. A ideal place to just chill out. We hope to visit again at the end of January 2026.

Quiet central Mt Maunganui getaway.
A short drive from the Airport and the main beach and down the road is Bayfair shopping Centre which has every imginable shop to wander through. In the opposite direction is Mt Maunganui with its shops and various eating establishments where all tastes are catered for. Thus it was a ideal place for us oldies to have a timeout weekend.

Our studio accommodation under our Hosts’ beautiful home was quiet, spotless, warm and comfy. Parking was outside the door. It was close to the supermarket and the Mount shops and cafes. Just perfect, thank you.
