Tavistock House Hotel was super clean and the rooms had everything you could need. Free parking was a bonus. Brad and his team were so helpful and friendly and it was only a short walk to town.

Stunning hotel with fab decor

Our 4th or 5th stay here at the truely beautiful hotel. The hotel is decorated in stunningly good taste and we always teveive a wonderful welcome. Close by to some grrat restaurants etc and always eady to park Thank you for having us x

Brad was a lovely host, we were in the area for a family funeral and he made our stay stress free and very comfortable. Tavistock town centre is a quick walk along the road where you can buy local produce and gifts etc. locals were lovely and friendly as well. The hotel was very clean and tidy and the bed was very comfortable. All facilities were great.

As soon as I arrived I was greeted by Brad who offered to carry my bags and explained a lot of information about the local area, and said if I needed anything to just let him know. The building is easily accessible from the car park with the use of a key card which allows you to come and go at all hours. The room was amazing, clean, very modern and the bed was probably the most comfortable I’ve ever stayed in. The room has everything you need such as smart tv, fridge and coffee machine. I honestly can’t fault this place, will definitely stay again if I am down this way again

The Tavistock House Hotel is a little gem within a world heritage listed historic stannary market town. We were warmly greeted by our host and escorted to a lovely decorated and well appointed room. A good choice of local eatery's is available within a short stroll. A tasteful continental breakfast was available to ready us for a day sightseeing in the town and local area. Highly recommended.

Very warm welcome from host. Really impressive walk up to entrance of building and equally nice once inside . Bedroom and bathroom all really clean and nice touches on the decor. Would definitely stop again if in the area

Classy Hotel

Tavistock House Hotel may be small but, so classy. Attention to detail in bed and public rooms, second to none. I especially appreciated fresh milk for my tea, rear car park and it overlooks the tennis courts so is quiet but close to the town centre.

Two night stay

A great two night stay. I had a quiet room on the top floor. Bit of a climb up two flights of stairs so not for those who have mobility issues but it was fine for me. The room was spacious and well appointed and modern and clean. Shower was a double size and rain head shower. bed was comfortable. There was a kettle and coffee maker in the room.

Amazing place to stay

What a superb place to stay. Everything was just perfect including an amazing breakfast. Parking is so easy at the rear of the hotel and all the local shops and bars are just a 5 minute walk away. The owners are very friendly and make for a top stay 👏
