"The room had a TV but no power socket close enough to plug it into. Bed was pretty uncomfortable, needs a new mattress. Quilt had an old blood stain on it. Bathroom sink was blocked and looked as though it had been for a long time."

"Struggled to find reception at first but it was in the Mexican cafe next door, staff were attentive, friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. First room was lovely, clean, it is a very old quirky building which I love but some may prefer more modern. We went out for the evening and didn’t return until 1am - when we found out our TV wasn’t working properly, I contacted the number on the info and they sent someone straightaway to sort out and then changed our room - we ended up in the suite with four poster bed - beautiful character period room and again staff were friendly and super helpful. Would definitely stay again if needed to and thank you again to the staff for being so accommodating. "
