“Upon arrival to Splash Landings we went to the bar to order drinks. Over 10 minutes later we still had no drinks as the barman could not operate the till or simply pour a slushy. When we had breakfast in the morning it took longer to find a clean plate than it did to get breakfast. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable but we were only staying one night so we made do. I always strip the beds after we stay over at hotels to help the domestic staff and I was utterly disgusted by the bedding……

“The property has potential to be beautiful with a lot of care and attention. As it stands it is extremely outdated and tatty looking and definitely not very clean and certainly not comfortable. The mattress was overhanging the base of the bed, the sheets were too small and the pillows had very little life left in them although the duvet cover, pillow cases and sheets were clean. The whole hotel needs a good clean and maybe the use of a hoover would make a little difference. We had food in the……

“The room we stayed was so poor quality and too old nd very less maintained. The full carpet was dirty and stains with a very bad smell. The wardrobe in the room doesn’t have a door . The bathroom roof has a very big mark of dirty water leakage from the room or bathroom ups stairs. There is not even a shower curtain n the bathroom , so that we couldn’t bath . The tiles , window and window re covered with mold and not cleaned for ages . The room is not at all in an acceptable stage to stay or give……

“Somewhat quiet. The owner was vwry nice and welcoming. Riim was adequate however it was small so luckiky we did not take up our suitcases. A small fridge was provided which was useful. What would have also been been useful was a jug or bottle of water. It was very hard to fill the kettle from the bathroom sink. We couldny understand why the bed was unusually warm and a bit sticky. Is the plastic under the mattress protector necessay? Nice stay.”
