Family Christmas Vacation

Great place

This home was fantastic. We feel that the actual place was even better than the pictures, The views of the beach and water were spectacular with beautiful sunsets every night. We were a family ranging in age from 3 to 73. Everyone was happy and comfortable with plenty of space to spread out. Marvin, the property caretaker, was very helpful and prompt in answering any questions that we had. We felt very save and secure. We highly recommend.

Great Getaway

Property was in the perfect location. On the Pacific coast with birds, monkeys, sloths, butterflies, in addition to some wonderful people, including staff at the wonderful house. A perfect vacation 😍

Relaxing tropical getaway

The views at this house are second to none! If you like sitting in an infinity pool while watching the ocean waves crashing is appealing, this is the place for you. You easily can switch between the beach, pool and in-town bars/breweries all located in a tropical paradise. Very solid 👌

Great location

We really enjoyed all the amenities that the villa had to offer from bikes to paddle boards and boogie boards. The sunsets were amazing and we enjoyed watching the sunsets from the back deck each evening. Thee were lots of restaurants close by. The house was very spacious and very comfortable for our group of 8. Alex was also very responsive with all of our questions. We would definitely return.

Beautiful Property and Wonderful Management

The house and location could not have been better! The team that helped take care of us was top notch: Alexandra (concierge), Marvin (grounds keeper) and Eduardo (transportation). Everyone was extremely helpful, patient and kind. I would highly recommend Casa de Suenos!

Excellent

Our group of ten (six kids and four adults) had an excellent experience with this large and spacious property. Alexandra coordinated our excursions and transfers; Marvin took care of us on the property; and Josselyn cooked an amazing meal. Christian and Eduardo were great drivers. We highly recommend this house and all of the experiences and people that come with it.

Casa de Suenos

The house was so much bigger than we expected. The gathering spaces are incredible. We spent a lot of time in the outside area where you can hear the waves rolling in. Marvin, Alejandra, and Jimmy were all very helpful. This was a wonderful place to stay!

First Time Costa Rica Vacation

Our family had a wonderful time at the Casa Suenos. It was our first time visiting Costa Rica and the house had all the amenities we were looking for; i.e, bedrooms with adjoining bathrooms, the infinity pool, outdoor eating area, beachfront, kayaks, paddle boards, short walking distance to restaurants,etc.. Our property manager was wonderful and always got back to us in a timely manner. Alex booked us several tours during our stay and arranged all our transportation while we here. The tours we took; i.e. Coffee tour, Congo trail zip lining/ATVs, Jet skiing and private boat excursion, were all phenomenal. Our family had a great time. Everyone we met were so helpful and we hope to come back here again soon!

Friend Trip to Remember

11 of us traveled from NC to CR for 6 days of adventure. Casa de Suenos offered everything we needed to relax and enjoy each others' company. It was the perfect set up for 5 couples and 1 single. The caretaker, Marvin, went above and beyond to answer our questions and help us with errands. I would highly recommend the area of Playa Portero. It was quiet and very quaint. Definitely not an area overrun with tourists. We will be back! PURA VIDA!

Wonderful Beach Front Stay

This is a wonderful house right on a quiet beach in Potrero. The house if far enough away from Playa Potrero and Potrero to have privacy, but close enough to both towns to walk for shopping or dining. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms attached to each bedroom were convenient for our large group. The on site custodian, Marvin, was very helpful when we messaged him, but we never noticed him on the site otherwise. Alexa at Blue Zone was a terrific hostess and very responsive to messages. She helped set up a tour for us and dinner from a local cook. If you have the chance, definitely have Karen come to cook for you. Her food is better than any restaurant and she even sang for us! The kayaks, paddleboards, body boards, beach chairs, bikes, pool table, infinity pool, and outdoor patio made for plenty of things to do without ever leaving the premises. Overall, a great place to stay.

Awesome house and fantastic concierge!

We had a great time staying here! The house had lots of room for the 11 of us. The location was great with close access to town, day trips and just hanging out at the beach and the pool. The concierge was fantastic! We are last minute planners and she was very accommodating. She booked us on a private boat for snorkeling and some fishing, with great food included. Also, she booked wave runners that were brought to the beach at the house! She touched base often to see if we needed anything. Our youngest traveler was under 2 and it did take a little more work to keep her safe, as the pool and deck are on the second floor. The family all agreed it was our best vacation!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time at Casa de Suenos. The house was very large to accommodate the whole family. The bad thing was that the dishwasher did not work, and the bedroom on upstairs main floor did not have a full wall. It was very hard for the person sleeping in this bedroom to get sleep with a half wall. Everything else was great though. Had a wonderful time.

Amazing Views, Amazing Property

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second consecutive year staying in this house. Two families of four, each with young children. The location is outstanding with amazing views of the sunset each evening and an elevated pool to enjoy the view and keep cool. We have enjoyed taking out the kayaks and the stand up paddle boards. The house is very clean an well maintained. Potrero is not as busy as some other beaches, which we really enjoy, yet is a short drive to other busier towns along the coast such as Tamarindo. We are looking forward to a third stay next year.

Memories we will always cherish!

This was our first time visit to Costa Rica and we had a fantastic stay. We had 10 people and were 2 families with 6 young adults in their early 20's. The house was huge and provided plenty of space for all. We opened up the full sliding glass walls to the covered patio and enjoyed hearing the waves in the evening, the amazing sunset and the infinity pool directly off the patio. We enjoyed the walks on the quiet beach each morning. Alex at Blue Zone was fantastic in giving us alot of options and made the arrangements for all of our activities each day. She arranged a private sunset cruise/snorkeling, our private water trek through the La Leona river with Eduardo as our guide and the private Arenal Volcano trek with Gabriel as our guide. We had 2 nights with Karen the Singing Chef preparing amazing Costa Rican food for us with her team of Orlando and Janice. Alex made sure our family had a great time and continued to follow up each day to check on how we were doing. I highly recommend Casa Suenos & Blue Zone Experience and would come back here in the future.

Fab stay

Group of 10 including two 5 year olds and a 1.5 year old. What drew us to the property was that every room could be made into a king and had an en-suite. The layout was very practical for our group. Downstairs space served as a good work space while upstairs stayed as entertainment. The views are unbelievable. Some bathrooms could use some updating (mineral deposits, etc), but otherwise better than the pictures look. Some add-ons that would have made it perfect - one large table for dining instead of the two separate. Beach umbrellas and more chairs. Better stove - not all burners were functioning. Marvin the housekeeper was very punctual. The AC (once we figured it out on the upper floor) was much appreciated.

First Family Vacation in 2 years!

We really enjoyed Casa de Suenos. The team at LEP was great! Alexandra was really available and communicative and helped schedule activities, dinner reservations, transport and groceries! Marvin was super nice and helped when we needed it. We had a blast. The kiddos played in the pool and enjoyed the hermit crabs on the beach! We were really comfortable in the house and it had everything we needed (even beach toys for the kids). Alexandra organized a golf cart to be delivered for our use during the week. We had massages at the house, went kayaking and enjoyed walking on the beach to Hemingway's for lunch or Los Brisas for dinner. We also enjoyed Patagonia Del Mar and Sendido Norte. The only thing that was a bummer on our trip was the construction at the neighbors house but we didn't let it spoil our lovely time away! THANK YOU Alexandra, Marvin, Eduardo, Jennifer and all of the other lovely people we encountered during our stay!

Rejuvenation

Had a wonderful, relaxing stay with wife and four children who range in age from 15-21. The house was as advertised and provided plenty of room to spread out for quiet time or gather as a group for meals and games. The pool, patio and beach were where the majority of time was spent and it was an easy walk down the beach to great restaurants and activities. Hats off to Alex our concierge and Eduardo our driver for their flexibility and customization of trips that catered to all the families interests. This is one of the busiest times of the year and we were behind the curve in getting our plans locked down and over to Alex and team before we arrived. Despite this, they were able to work their magic to get a great set of reservations and activities in place on very short notice. Some of the highlights were the trip to watch the sea turtles nesting/hatching, the trip to the national park and waterfalls and the customized fishing trip/sunset cruise to accommodate multiple interests. The house was great, Alex and team were fantastic helping to create one of our most relaxing and rejuvenating vacations to date.

A great place for a big group

After years being apart our family gathered for an overdue reunion. The house was perfect for our group of adults. The flow on the main floor from kitchen to pool to the sitting areas and out to the beach made everything easy. We barely left the property! The sunsets are stunning, especially sitting in the pool with a tropical cocktail in hand. The kitchen was big and well used - we cooked most of our meals. We strongly recommend Karen Andrade, who came in to cook for us one evening. She shared her family dishes with us - authentic CR and delicious. The beach is really swimable, so the ocean newbies felt very safe. A couple of notes. The three downstairs bedrooms are definitely darker and damper than the upstairs. Also, note that the property is run by a third party company. They were really great, but we did have some complications with the parallel financial systems with VRBO. I blame that more on VRBO though. Enjoy!
