“Nice and clean room. The toilet and shower were outside the room but close enough, a few steps away. The bed was comfy, there was a little TV in the wall, the WIFI unfortunately didn't really reach us on the top floor, but overall nice start and warm welcome. ”

“3 of us stayed in the 3 single bed family room on a room only basis the room was extremely clean with en suite shower room. The beds were very comfortable tea and coffee was supplied and when we needed more milk they bought us more. The room also had doors out to a little patio area overlooking a pool with fish and a lawn beyond.”

“The host was acomodating and really helpful. Easily accessible via texts. We never actually saw her. Room was prepared for us and welcoming, refreshments were available on arrival and kid found little fridge greaf. Some little things in there that makes the room not be worth 10/10 like little TV never working or shower leaking so needing to use one of towels to make sure we don't drown neighbours, but we would return providing that the order becomes easier. Unsure if I'd book via hotels.com……

“Simply perfect, as usual. No problems in any area. This is my go-to venue for what are usually short stay visits to the area & I have no intention of staying elsewhere unless by any chance no rooms are available - & so far his has never happened!”

“stay here because it is very closed to the train and bus station of Hastings. the town itself doesnt have too much attractions but you can go Battle (Battle Abbey), Bodiam castle easily. Room and shared toliet is small but ok for a single backpacker”

“I had a great stay here at this 3 bedroom house, all 3 bedrooms are rented out, i was in a single room, which was perfectly clean, and adequate for my 3 night stay! Its a shared bathroom, and there is a downstairs toilet! I am a professional cleaner, so for me it could have been cleaner, but it was definately clean enough!!! I would stay again, in fact im hoping to rent all 3 rooms next year!!!”

“I had a very comfortable stay in my spacious ensuite room. It was clean and well furnished. The owner of the guest house was lovely and gave me a warm welcome. I would definitely visit again soon.”

“Host Deb was friendly but this did not compensate for a room and house that smelt stale- a mix of dog and cigarette smoke. Keeping the windows open meant lots of noise from the busy road. Shower tray was blocked. Doesn't offer actual breakfast (as advertised) but was offered some toast. Generally poor experience.”

“I would highly recommend a stay in this converted Oast. My partner, our dogs and I had a lovely time. Such a nice part of Kent, we didn't want to leave! Amanda's thoughtful touches made it even more special- we had homemade bread, red currant jelly and a cake for my partners birthday along with butter and milk. The oast was clean and tidy and there were some pretty walks around the area.”
