「We stayed at Portou House for 5 nights and had an excellent time. Very good location in Chania Old Town. Communication was great from start to finish with Julia being very responsive. We were pleasantly surprised with a bottle of wine for my Partner’s birthday which was a nice touch. The only feedback we would have is that there was no full length mirror - think it would be good to consider including in the rooms. Many thanks Julia and team at Portou House. 」

「The flat was brilliant and not too distant from the old town - 10 minute walk. However when I arrived at the property there was no receptionist and a sign pointing to the e-reception. I rang the bell on the keypad and got no response. I finally found a phone number and got through to someone who gave me a code to access my key - it was a real pain to search for a number I could contact them on - they had contacted me by email the day before to ask for my arrival time, and could easily have given...

「Spent 4 nights at the apartments. We stayed in July so were aware of the property. There were only us and another friendly couple staying here as it was getting to the end of the season. The rooms weren't cleaned during this time or fresh sheets and the bins weren't emptied. We disposed of the bathroom bin contents. We are aware there's no cleaner over the weekend, so maybe be provided with more bin bags and a bin to dispose of them in. We'd still happily stay here again.」

「Dette var ett ubeboelig, urent og rett og slett en plass jeg ikke vil anbefale noen å leie. Vi hadde bestilt to uker, men var kun innom og fant ut at ville ikke vi tilbringe to uker her, og leide oss inn ett annet sted. Vi har ikke fått noen beklagelse」

「Helt igennem perfekt ophold. Vi havde 2 vær. lejlighed i 2 etager - med fuld panorama udsigt. Adgang til solsenge på egen strand (som man dog skal betale for at benytte). Lille restaurant der serverer mad og drikkevarer. Virkelig god service. Eneste ting man skal være opmærksom på er at det kan være en udfordring for gangbesværede. Der er rigtig mange trapper. 」

「I could not have asked for a better stay at Villa Alexander. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, the villa was incredible, so well maintained and big and clean, the pool was perfect, and the area was peaceful and felt very safe. The owner of the villa was absolutely lovely and made me feel so welcome throughout my stay, and we met on my final day there, and she could not have been sweeter and more warm. I hope to return to Villa Alexander in the future and am already missing it there. 」
