"Made reservations for two rooms through Expedia. I didn't like that I could not request adjoining rooms before arriving at the hotel. Called the hotel directly immediately after making reservation and because it was about a month out from arrival date, they could not take my request. It was suggested I call closer to my arrival date. Made another direct call to the hotel less than a week out and was told that because I booked the rooms through a third party, their policy does not allow them (the hotel) to take my request and that I would have to make my request through the third party (Expedia). Went to the third party about three days out and asked that they provide my request to the hotel. Response from Marriott two days later did not acknowledge my request, but gave me guidance for events happening in June. I arrived the first part of August. (?) I believe Kourtney at the front desk did the best she could in trying to accommodate our party of three adults for the two rooms. (One of the party being a ninety-year old not in the best health.)"
