“The hotel is easy to find, and ideally located for visiting Beamish Museum. It is very attractive, and the bar and restaurant areas have great views westwards over the valley. Each ground floor room has its own car parking slot - wonderful! The staff are friendly and helpful, and a small bonus for me, the malt whisky is cheaper than the pub down the road .... I would definitely stay here again if visiting the area, there was nothing I did not like.”

“Lovely clean,comfortable room and bed. Good food in lovely bar restaurant. Friendly staff including Malcolm, the owner. Will be back soon and highly recommend this hotel. Plenty of pubs,restaurants shops in walking distance. Ample free parking a bonus too. ”
