"Staff friday night put my husband in a different room than I booked for, so when I got there saturday morning, there was a new receptionist who couldnt even find him in the system as checked in. I called him to see what room he was in and the that room was in someone elses name, and was a downgrade from the room i booked. Bathroom was filthy. It was almost as if they gave him a room that someone else used and didnt do a complete cleaning. I went to the receptionist (she was very helpful and so was the rest of the morning staff) and she switched rooms. Then, the room that she gave us, the bath tub was clogged, so we had to get rooms switch again and finally that room was clean and sufficient. I would not recommend this place because it is unorganized and filthy. Only plus to it was the saturday and sunday morning staff. "

"The rooms are outdated and not very clean at least bedding was clean. There is a lot of upkeep and maintenance the rooms need. We ended up doing the breakfast buffet and the food did not feel fresh it was a waste of money. The staff however was very friendly and helpful. The bar is very nice and again the service is excellent. We also ended up having to move rooms because there was work being done to the pool and there was a very strong paint thinner smell in our room and halls near the elevator. We traveled with our baby so we requested to move rooms. The staff moved us right away to accommodate us. "

"I am glad the lighting in the room was high efficiency. And the luxury performance vinyl flooring makes me feel much safer than carpeting with who knows what ground into it. But, it all made the room echo-ey and cold feeling. I like the clean modern look in photos, but in person it felt harsh. There is no daily room cleaning, which is a good thing or a bad thing, depending on your preference. Limited selection of TV channels. Full size fridge "

"Please - you should stay at The Jefferson Hotel. You really should. It was a great experience - and I say that as an experienced traveler ( IBM, Equifax, and other Road-Warrior ). The King room was massive and well-appointed. The staff - whenever we passed them were attentive and welcoming. Please - treat yourself - stay at Richmond's - The Jefferson Hotel."

"The room was very spacious and equipped with a full size fridge and sink for a family of 4 with kids. Valet was available and were prompt with our vehicle when needed. Our stay was excellent for the weekend."
