"A perfect getaway with quick pleasant drive to Traverse City or day trip to Torch Lake (which our family did!). The host has continued to make updates at the home with an added sauna and ice plunge. The house was clean and stocked pretty well. We’d definitely return to this family friendly retreat! "

"We had a Peaceful & Wonderful vacation week at Sweet Cherry Cottage!Sunny days we kayaked and had fun on the SUP paddle boards on Bass lake. Morning latte on the deck with beautiful water view, and I loved the milk frother on the krups coffee maker! Nice touches of decor with lakeside and cherry themes. Check in was perfect, and Jody was quick to respond to our questions about the lake depth. So glad she told me about Halls corn on the cob in season-- it is the best Ive tasted.It can be humid on the lake (i had forgotten this fact), the portable AC/dehumidifier in living room was great as well as air purifiers.The perfect cottage for day trips into Traverse, Suttons Bay and Mission Peninsula-- then we could go back to the cottage and enjoy a peaceful evening on Bass Lake. Highly recommended rental !"
"Our experience at Great Wolf Lodge in Traverse City, MI was the best! The beds were amazingly comfortable. The rooms with their vaulted ceilings and balcony made the rooms feel so large. We loved the sitting area in each room. Everything about the Great Wolf Lodge is an experience for kids and adults alike, from walking in the door being greeted with a wolf ear headband to the helpful agents at the check in desk. Our dining experiences were great & delicious. The indoor water park was a highlight for our family, both kids and adults. The "quests" our kids participated in were truly magical. Everyone came home with wands, capes and a touch of magic. An excellent time was had by all from ages 4 to 74. We'll be back!"

"The cabin was great. It was exactly as advertised. The best part of it was the view from the front window. It was such a peaceful setting on a lake. We enjoyed the Grand Traverse lighthouse, the Old Mission lighthouse, and Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. We would stay there again."
