「Staff were lovely but the property needs a lot of TLC. The bathroom is tiny but well equipped. Good location for st Michael's Mount but not much else nearby. Bonus was, they offered breakfast included but we weren't hungry enough for a full English breakfast 😟」

「3rd time staying here - love the house and position is great to explore the lizard. Damp was really bad this year - walls were wet and mouldy in places and kitchen cupboards very musty - cleaners were great coming out and cleaning up some of the mould. Probably damp build up if it had been shut up for a while. But we always enjoy our stay - beds comfy and loads of room for our family and little dog 」

「Darren at reception was really lovely, the lady who served us breakfast in the morning was very lovely and accommodating. The hotel dog ran up to us barking as we were leaving, which was a bit alarming. The bedroom was simple and clean. Unfortunately the hotel has an awful smell, even in the bedrooms, like damp or mouldy carpets. A bee was in our room, luckily my husband was able to get it out. I appreciate it is an old historic building, but a deep clean and refresh of the carpets might help.」

「Parking spaces were plentiful. The staff were kind and helpful and offered to carry our bags upstairs because there isn't a lift. The family room was a good size and clean and the bed was comfortable and had two pillows. It had a fan, heater, and iron and ironing board already there, but no air conditioning so it got quite hot during this heatwave.
