"I have hosted short term rentals and have been renting many for years, and I would say that this treehouse cottage was very cute and well thought out. That said, I would make some recommendation's. It wasn’t clear in the listing how far the house was from the water. It is a short walk but details should be a bit clearer. We brought our own kayaks but the small road to the beach was blocked off for reasons unknown. The ponds are cute but very small and not interconnected. It was amazing that...

"This place is absolutely magical. Less than hour outside of Ottawa but we felt like we were in a tropical paradise. Everything was clean and cozy. Deanna was a great host. This place is amazing for a romantic getaway. We will definitely be back!"

"This property was listed as 3 Bedrooms / 1 Bath BUT, after reserving, I was told it was a Single Room with a SHARED Bath!! The listing explicitly says, per the VRBO guidelines, that you have the whole house and only share with your family. I cancelled immediately BUT have not heard from either the Property Owner or VRBO about a REFUND. NOT ACCEPTAB:E"

10/10 Excellent

"I give my stay 5 stars, BUT this is at best a 3 star hotel. It’s an older building they’ve put lipstick on. Having said that, if you need something that’s decent, it fits the bill and is very easy to get to off the highway. Older reviews mentioned bad drainage in the bathtubs, I was on 9th floor, it was good. Staff I interacted with was friendly. Breakfast buffet is a decent value if you get the discount and buy after you check in. The hotel price was sort of expensive for what you did get… but the parking was free so that basically offset the higher room price. Ac was ice cold and the room was quiet. Overall, I’d come back again. "
