Casa Birmula

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is very conveniently located close to the harbour, the ferry point and numerous shops, bars and cafes. The hotel is clean and beautiful, small but with everything needed for a pleasant stay, including a water cooler on every floor. The room was great and the AC worked flawlessly in the 40 degree heat. The staff are helpful and very friendly. The breakfast is wonderful and the pool at the top offers amazing view of the neighbourhood. The steps and the narrow street add charmingly to the character of the place. It’s a real gem at the heart of Cospicua. We would definitely choose it again if we are to visit Malta in thr future."

"What an incredible place to stay. Away from the more touristy areas, this former palace is definitely a unique place to stay in Malta. The staff are incredibly helpful, especially Pietro who made our stay very special. The breakfasts are delicious and the pool area is lovely and gives you fantastic views of the Grand Harbour. The rooms are beautiful, ours had a high stone ceiling and a balcony. The beds are comfortable and the air conditioning is perfect during the hot weather. The courtyard is a cool alternative to sitting by the rooftop pool as well. There are lots of great restaurants nearby and a delicous ice cream place just outside at the bottom of the steps. You are just minutes from the small boats that will take you across to Valetta and about 5 minutes walk from the ferry. We will definitely come back."
