“Poachers Paradise is a fabulous motel. The owners are very friendly and the rooms are clean and well maintained. Parking is right outside your room. The motel is a minute's walk from the centre of town.
What a lovely place Rutherglen is. There are a few bars and restaurants and everyone is very friendly and welcoming. There are also plenty of shops and cafes.
Thoroughly recommend both the Poachers Paradise Motel and Rutherglen. Ask in the hotel bar on the main street why it's called the……
“Nice people after I complained about the air freshener in the room as well that single women always get awful rooms. It is the same wherever you are. We wonen pay the same price and should be given the same as they do for men.
The ladies in the establishment were very good and I was updated to as better room, which was great. I recommend this place and hope that women will stand up to get better accomodation than offered.”
“The Motel was very quiet, located off the main road. Generally, the room was well appointed and bed comfortable. Overnight the outside Temp dropped to -3.8 degrees, but the heater coped very well and the room stayed warm. The receptionist was very helpful with advice for places for dinner. No problems staying again. ”
