“After being told it is £5 per night to park i questioned this as it was not mentioned anywhere else. I was just ignored. Taken to room at top of hotel. 6 flights if stairs. What if I was not able. Never asked about my health. No AC or fans in room. Room overlooked another building full of seagulls that never stopped calling. Dead young on the roof. No shelves in bathroom for toiletries no hook on door for robes etc, dusty dirty windows. Breakfast was a joke. No cereals only 1 x type of drink……

“The room was very clean, and the facilities within the room were excellent. There was a wonderful view of the beach from the restaurant area. Most of the staff were polite, friendly, and helpful. The main problem we had was that every time we sat down at an empty table for an evening meal, we had to ask a member of staff to clean the surface of the table, which was still sticky from the previous occupant. “Only stayed for the one night room was big enough couldn’t turn on the shower but wasn’t that bad as had the bath and I’m sure if I had called them I’m sure they would of come and sorted it out staff was amazing very friendly would definitely stay again”

“The reason we rate this Hotel so poorly is because our two night stay in mid July turned into a one night day because the room had no ventilation, no fresh air coming in by any way, except the window and the window was adjacent to the roof line where if we kept the window open, there was the possibility of a rodent coming in through the unscreened window and without the window being open, the room turned into an oven. The temperature was 80degrees or more. The management provided two fans, but……

“We love the breakfast freshly cooked from the menu, there’s continental from the buffet as well. Apparently need to do some improvements with the room conditions. The housekeeper didn’t get the rubbish from the bin inside the toilet for 2 days. Hotel located opposite to the sea with beautiful views. Free parking along the road after 6pm until 9am. There is public parking available around. On the average ok for the stay, spacious room.”

“Stayed in suite 2. Communication prior to stay was good re parking and check in which was as advised. Only slight issue was getting info suite which had very stiff front door. Lovely apartment , very clean on arrival with complimentary beer , prosecco and soft drinks. Information provided in apartment advised it would be serviced following day. Jacuzzi worked once we got the hang of it.TV kept pixeling but got better. Comfortable bed and furnishings. Stayed Friday and Saturday night, got back……

“A lovely pub with a stunning beer garden and direct access to the canal path for walks to Carnforth Morecambe and Lancaster. Only issue was the heat in the room which I appreciate it was unusually hot but room 3 also has a large noisy extractor fan outside the window so it was either heat or noise. The fan does get turned off at night. Would still stay again and the food was excellent.”

“Really good value hotel experience. I had a sea view from my room. I also really appreciated the continental breakfast inclusive of the price. I wasn't expecting it. Not all cheaper hotels are good, but this one is. Simple, great value and a lovely experience.”
