"Despite being a 2-star hotel, it’s a great place to stay if you really want that old world European experience. This hotel is NOT some big fancy high rise like a Marriott or Hyatt with a doorman, fitness center, room service, etc. The place was probably an old apartment building before converted into a very quaint and charming hotel. The rooms are small, but ours had a cute balcony and lots of shelves, so we had plenty of storage. The shower fixture was modern and clean and the room temp was controlled by a digital thermostat. There was no mini fridge, but since we were there over New Years, we simply stored some food items outside on the balcony where it averaged about 34°F (1°C) throughout our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They let us store our bags in a locked closet when we arrived too early for check-in, but still got our room ready ahead of schedule. "

"The design and decoration of the room looks modern and contemporary. The room layout is very nice and practical. The kitchen has plenty and usable counter top space. The bathroom has big shower space, but it eats up too much space for the bathroom sink and toilet. The location is very convenient to Metro and RER train lines access. However, our room could hear a low-frequency humming noise from the trains passing through the station, especially at night. Because it is very low-frequency, it did not bother our sleep, but if you are a very light sleeper, this may be a problem for you."

"Hotel du Cadran was located in the perfect location! It was surrounded by restaurants, bakeries, a small market and other shops. We loved that it was walking distance to the Eiffel Tower. The hotel was small, but it provided everything we needed from a nice breakfast, to coffee and treats throughout the day to clean rooms and friendly staff. We also liked that our room had a courtyard which provided us with outdoor privacy and a nice space to have morning coffee, sit and read, or just relax. Overall our stay at this hotel was just what we wanted and we plan on visiting again! "
